What are your qualifications and certifications?I have a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from BYU-Idaho. I am a certified elementary school teacher in the state of Arizona. I also have my Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. All of which are available on request.

Is Wonder Learning Co. accredited?Yes! Wonder Learning Co is accredited by the Arizona Department of Education.

Where do sessions take place?You can choose between your home (if you live in the QC/STV area) or a public library. If your student is home-bound and you live outside of QC/STV area, please contact me for special rates that include travel.

Do parents/guardians need to be present?A responsible adult must be on the premisses during tutoring sessions, however they are not expected to participate.

What forms of payment do you accept?ClassWallet, Venmo, ApplePay and cash.

Can I use ESA funds?Yes! I am an ESA Approved Tutor. Here's some more information about ESA.

What does a one-on-one session look like?We meet at your house or a designated location (like the public library) and have fun learning for an hour! Guided by your child's interests and wonderings, we'll practice foundational skills, learn new concepts and practice applying them.

What does a small group session look like?Gather a group of 5-12 kiddos, set a day, time and location and let me know what you want to learn! We can do a fun science experiment, an impressive art project, or a thoughtful literature study. I will send you the supply list and a outline of the activities before the date so everyone is prepared. At least one parent or guardian must be present, but their involvement is optional.

Do you serve special needs students?Yes! As a classroom teacher and behavioral therapy assistant, I have had the joy of working with many children with special needs. Although I do not offer therapies, I am happy to accommodate and adapt my teaching to serve each child and their unique needs.

What ages do you serve?Kindergarten and up! Although I was trained in K-8 grades, I feel comfortable teaching through high school.
